You, Me, and The Fencepost was created as a site for the presentation and discussion of matters related to what I call judicious living. So much of what we do in our lives – how we spend our time and our resources (i.e. money) — is influenced by a very powerful status quo. I think it important to chart a path through life that gives careful consideration as to what road to follow. As a citizen of the Free World, I realize it is a sqandering of the benefits of being free to not choose carefully. Often I find it makes perfect sense to do just what most thoughtful people are doing. Other times, it makes little sense to me to do what my neighbor is doing. And so it is with the information that I have at my disposal and my own sense that I postulate what I consider to be most judicious. What do you think?
